Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She started her acting career with supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and also played a minor role in the short-lived drama The Ex List. She played Kaylee an infant Moira in the first season of on FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson's character on AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie was the character she played in NBC's This Is Us. She also voiced several characters from Family Guy's animated comedy series. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother when she was of 10. The family lived in various places for a year before finally moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge relocated to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
