Kelly Michelle Stables, born in St. Louis Missouri was the stage performer for The Muny Opera. Kelly Michelle Stables graduated with distinction at The University of Missouri Columbia in Columbia, MO. She holds a BA degree in Communication and Theater. When she moved to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theatre arts, acting and choreographing for more than two dozen musicals and plays including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly began landing television as well as film roles, while she continued to study improvisation through The Groundlings. She also joined Theatre West. Her distinct voice and diminutive size has enabled her to perform a range of characters. Her most well-known role is her role with Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara In The Ring 2 but is also more commonly recognized for the glamorous bright receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly had a role as an ongoing series on TV Land's The Exes in which she played both the role of a party-hopper as well as a paralegal in the day. Additionally, she played Alyssa's smart sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the show on CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the stressed suburban mom. She's lent her singing soprano to several animated cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Most recently she can be known as the dim, but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's hit comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet private life, with her husband and two small kids. She enjoys sewing and volunteering at school activities.
