Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist with a distinct style. Baker was born into an English Scottish German family in Houston, Texas U.S.A., on the 22nd of April the 22nd of April, 1991. His parents are missionaries. In his early years Baker traveled a lot with them. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed and Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker moved to Denver along with his father, and lived there for some time. Baker was subject to bullying since that he was poor by other children. When he was in sixth grade, he began listening to hip-hop. Colson Baker, a.k.a by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. He is known for fusing modern and alternative hip-hop with rock music into his songs. Baker made four mixtapes in the period before signing with Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. In the wake of delivering his lyrics quicker than a bullet train and a soaring voice, the Cleveland artist saw an explosive increase in fame and recognition in the year 2011. His career changed from self-released cassettes, to signing with labels. The profile of the Cleveland rapper soared after the release of his debut mixtape at the end of 2011.
